DrainMeter is a test applet developed by WITS intended to measure battery consumption in a BREW device while the device is executing a combination of features selected by a user. DrainMeter allows the user to simultaneously run any combination of video playback, audio playback, TCP data transfer, and location tracking. DrainMeter keeps track of the time elapsed, in the form of 5 seconds time stamps, while a selected combination of features are executing. For BREW 3.1.4 (and beyond) devices, DrainMeter also monitors the device battery level.
