A test MIDlet that runs on J2ME devices that support the JSR-179 location API with RIM extensions. The MIDlet allows wireless carriers and OEMs to exercise and verify all or selected Location Based Services (LBS) features provided in such devices. Input parameters are defined through the handset, or by sending a short message service (SMS) message to the device. Success/failure codes that result from exercising each feature are displayed on the handset.
